Sarah Gyorki

The Northeast Ohio Musical Heritage Association is pleased to announce that it has hired Sarah Gyorki as its first executive director.

Sarah has served previously as development director for Shore Cultural Centre in Euclid as well as founding director of Arts Collinwood. Sarah is also owner of SKG Consulting, which provides development assistance for emerging, transitioning and growing organizations, both for-profit and nonprofit.

“We are so pleased to find someone with Sarah’s breadth and depth of experience,” said NEOMHA board chair Jerie Ireland Green. “This puts us on the path to growth in supporting the local folk music community and bringing traditional and original music to appreciative audiences.”

NEOMHA, www.neomha.org, a nonprofit organization founded in 2014, produces the ninth annual Blue Sky Folk Festival, www.blueskyfolkfest.com, August 17 at The Fine Arts Association in Willoughby and the fifth annual Lake Erie Folk Fest, www.lakeeriefolkfest.com, coming February 22, 2020 in Euclid in collaboration with Shore Cultural Centre. The organization grew out of the founding of the Blue Sky Folk Festival by East Shore Unitarian Universalist Church in Kirtland.
